What counts as a seat
A seat is an active committer: anyone whose push or pull request ran Slipmark on one of your private repositories in the last 30 days. We take the name from the GitHub-signed token on each run, so it is the person who triggered the workflow. Bots, such as dependabot[bot], are not counted. People who only read the dashboard are not counted. Work on public repositories is never counted.
The Billing tab lists your active committers with their run counts, so you can see exactly who makes up the number.
Minimums
- Team: at least 3 seats, so from £45 a month or £450 a year.
- Business: at least 10 seats, so from £400 a month or £4,000 a year.
Trial
Team and Business start with 14 days free. You enter card details at checkout and are not charged until the trial ends. Cancel in the billing portal before then and you pay nothing. During the trial you get every feature of the plan you chose, and changing your seat count does not end the trial. You can enter a promotion code and your company's tax ID at checkout.
Monthly or annual
Pay monthly, or pay for a year up front and get two months free: £150 per seat a year on Team and £400 per seat a year on Business. Business customers can ask for annual invoicing instead of card payment.
Going over your seats
If more people commit than you pay for, the dashboard shows a note asking you to add seats. Nothing is blocked. No check is held back and no pull request waits on billing.
Changing or cancelling
Admins can change the number of seats, switch between Team and Business, update the card, download invoices or cancel from the billing portal, linked on the Billing tab. Seat changes are charged or credited for the rest of the billing period. When a subscription ends, the account returns to Free. If you made Slipmark policy a required check, you do not need to remove it: without an active plan it is posted as neutral (“Rules not enforced: no active plan”), which GitHub treats as passing, so pull requests never wait on billing. Your ledger is kept: public repository records stay visible, and private repository records become visible again if you subscribe later.
Billing is handled by Stripe on behalf of Reply Intelligence Group Ltd. Prices are in pounds sterling.
